“We totally can tell a difference in the warmth of the rooms further down the line”. Rooms are warmer themselves, but also the whole house feels a more balanced warmth as well.
The other thing we can notice is that the amount of dust is considerably less. Before sealing, we would dust, and the next day we could dust again. No, the case is no longer. Dusting “lasts” much longer now. The house, therefore, feels much cleaner as a result.
I installed an ecobee smart thermostat that is capable of providing reports of the efficiency of our HVAC. The report generated since sealing our ductwork indicated less furnace running time than before sealing. I am pleased with that as it was much colder after the sealing was completed and the furnace still ran less than pre-seal.”
